For fans of the Hitman franchise, this game delivers just as well as it's predecessors.
The suspicion meter has been improved and is less sensitive and unpredictable when compared to that of Hitman 2: Silent Assassin. A welcome change was the fact that enemies don't recognize a disguised 47 unless he does something suspicious, which made game play a lot more fun, and less tedious.
The graphics have undergone major upgrades in this game, with the addition of reflective surfaces and new shading techniques that contribute to the dark nature of the story. Also, many hits in this game allow for methods of murder approaching accidents, opportunities to poison targets' food or drink are much more common than in the previous games.
This game was just as gloomy as the others, and I found the foul weather added to my understanding of how 47 views his surroundings.
This game contained a lot of adult material, which definitely makes Contracts the darkest and most violent Hitman to date.
